Christless Christianity Crisis

“And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat? We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick: But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.” Numbers 11:4-6. A Christless Christianity crisis is seen not only infecting the mixed multitude whose professed possession isn’t all as it appears but also supposedly scripturally sound saints. They want Christ without His cross desiring to live like the world lusting after its pleasures but still declare that they’re Christian. The way of the cross isn’t convenient nor deemed necessary by them but by doing this they obliterate the Bible and all the truths contained therein. “And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” Luke 9:23. “He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.” Matthew 12:30. The message of the Bible is the world’s need of a Saviour from sin because anyone who can be saved in sin doesn’t need a Saviour. If you drop the compass or throw it away how can you navigate through the pitfalls of this world? “Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.” Matthew 15:14.

Without Christ in our daily lives, we have become like nothing. My brothers and sister, let us seek for things above. May God help you to realize your spiritual need of Jesus Christ in your life today and forever more, AMEN
